The Happy Yard

Where every fact came from.

Five sources, listed with what each one contributed. Nothing on this site comes from anywhere else.

  • The venue's own nine-page menu card, published on Zomato as b.zmtcdn.com/data/menus/264/21880264/*.jpg and saved to assets/img/menu-01..09.jpg. Every dish and every drink name in MENU and BAR is transcribed from these scans. They are also the source of the brand: a circular hand-lettered 'THE HAPPY YARD / BAR & KITCHEN' mark, a cream ground, a yellow-to-orange accent, and single-weight black line drawings of guests eating and drinking.menu card
  • Google Places, place_id ChIJ054MGwCRyzsR_v2FfQ2rjnM. Rating, review count, address, coordinates, plus code, phone, hours, facility attributes and 10 photographs.google business
  • district.in/dining/hyderabad/the-happy-yard-bar-kitchen-jubilee-hills — the full trading name, cuisine tags, cost for two, its own rating split across ambience/food/service, a second phone number, and the amenity list.district
  • zomato.com/hyderabad/the-happy-yard-bar-kitchen-jubilee-hills — the menu scans and the 30-photograph pool in assets/img/zom-*.zomato
  • 40 files in assets/img/ — 10 from the Google listing and 30 from the Zomato pool, credited in IMAGES. Acquisition and rejection logic in build/fetch_assets.py.photos

Where the sources disagree.

Four disagreements, each resolved in the open rather than averaged into a number nobody published.

  • Google 4.5 from 514 reviews · district.in 4.6 from 507 · JustDial 4.4 from 344 · magicpin 4.4 from 145. Google is shown because it is the largest pool and the one in BUSINESS. The others are recorded in RATINGS and shown as a set on the visit page, not merged into a single number.rating
  • Google gives 12:00 PM–11:30 PM Sun–Thu and 12:00 PM–12:30 AM Fri–Sat. district.in gives a flat 12:00 PM–11:30 PM; a search summary gave 12:00 PM–10:30 PM. Google's is used because it is the venue's own verified listing and is the only one with a weekend variation.hours
  • district.in says Rs 1,700; a magicpin summary says Rs 2,200. Google publishes no price level at all. Both are shown as a range with each attributed.cost for two
  • district.in: South Indian, North Indian, Continental. Search summaries add Chinese. The menu card carries all four — a CHINESE section, PASTA and PIZZA, Andhra and Telangana cooking — so all four are listed.cuisine

What was left out, and why.

Six things a site like this usually invents. None of them appears here.

  • The menu scans are cropped above the price column on every page except the bar list, where prices are illegible. No dish price is published anywhere we can verify, so no dish price appears on either site. Cost-for-two is quoted as a per-source range instead — see COST.prices
  • No source states when The Happy Yard opened. The Google listing has no editorial summary and no 'opened' field. Omitted rather than guessed.founding year
  • No named chef anywhere. Omitted.chef
  • Individual reviewer text on Zomato and JustDial is behind an interstitial we could not fetch cleanly. Rather than paraphrase a review we did not read, only the aggregate scores are used.review quotes
  • Not one stock image is used on either site. Every photograph is of this venue.stock photography
  • instagram.com/thehappyyard.hyd exists and is linked, but its posts are not embedded — an embed would leak visitor data to Meta on page load and would break the no-JS baseline.instagram embed
